1. A detailed description of the existing VPN technologies (hardware and software).
2. Tasks and scope of services required of an ISP
successfully implementing a VPN company.

    2. Even if you have a private leased lines (T1, T3, or copper, which spends over Ethernet should be) enough to run outside VPN.

    Re: # 2 - VPN has nothing to do with an ISP. The ISP provides Internet services and connectivity. A VPN is a software or hardware / software connection between two computers, two systems, or computer network. [If this confuses you, you can think about it: Make a connection to Yahoo and registration answers.yahoo.com - If you change your username and password in a relationship with a compound standard HTTP connection to a secure HTTPS (HTTP or SSL-Secure Socket Layer, if you will), then after a request - a VPN connection is comparable with https / SSL connection.]
